Lucile Diacono discovered and explored ceramics at fine arts school, learning modeling and molding techniques, which led her to sculptural practice.

In 2020, she completed professional ceramics training at the Vallauris Ceramics Art School (EACV), followed by a year-long research and creation residency at the same institution. For this artist and artisan, studio practice is central. It is there that she creates her sculptures and tableware, following traditional potters' techniques.

With handcraft and material work at the core of her approach, while continuing her sculpture work, she has been developing a line of mixed clay tableware and objects since 2024. Named Paesina, this brand is freely inspired by the mineral world and the work of Roger Caillois.
